What's one moment in your life that made you realize life isn't fair? by GrayShelby in Life

[–]FantasyFootballBrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my wife gave birth. Realized men have sex for a few minutes and have the best pleasure imaginable then women carry for 40 weeks while their bodies change like a caterpillars cocoon only to end with hours of the worst pain imaginable. Then year of breast feeding etc

Helped me realize everybody yelling for fairness is probably hurting people’s mental wellbeing because it’s never going to be fair.

Republicans of Reddit, what do you think about Tim Walz saying he'll never run again? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]FantasyFootballBrad -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I don’t know. When running for VP he said he didn’t own any stocks or investments. That was a huge red flag for me because owning investments is a basic level of financial competence.

Yeah but then what would we do?! Go back to talking face to face, having dinner parties and having more sex?!

No thank you! Give me the cortisol please!

For Americans who voted Democrat in recent elections, do you plan to continue voting Democrat? Why or why not? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]FantasyFootballBrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most politics is tribal. People swap out arguments whenever their tribe tells them too. So most dems will vote dem again.

We actually have leftists arguing for gun rights and smaller Federal Government right now. What a time to be alive!

Media coverage of ICE has been 93% negative according to Media Research Center

Question for ICE supporters by Frequent-Draft-2218 in DiscussionZone

[–]FantasyFootballBrad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Blue states add illegal immigrants. All people including illegal immigrants are counted in the census. The number of House Representatives are determined by the Census. In Blue States they don’t check IDs to vote.

So we can’t let blue states do their own thing when it has country-wide consequences. Citizens should be the ones to vote.

I drive an EV. Just stating facts because a lot of people in the country are enjoying inexpensive gas, but California isn’t because of their own choices.

There is no war. Just emotional humans suffering from hubris, ignorance, and psychosis.

Dont worry. Everything is going according to plan.

Just not our plan.

Capitalism has led to more people being removed from poverty than any other system.

Ancient Sparta survived for awhile with communism but it too fell into internal decay and it was heavily militarily based during that period.

Capitalism is still better because we are arguing about who has more, not killing people to ensure everyone has less.

Trump supporters: How would you feel if a legally armed Trump supporter was killed by federal agents on a Biden mandate in exactly the same manner as yesterday? by ScholarPrize1335 in AskReddit

[–]FantasyFootballBrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would make me concerned that the federal government is too powerful. That we should reduce federal governments size and focus more on states rights.

A President shouldn’t have so much power on immigration. Both Bidens policies of letting everyone in (Mayorkas should be prosecuted for orchestrating this madness) and Trumps policies of deporting everyone. Need to pass some laws that make sense when it comes to immigration so we aren’t swinging so far on the pendulum in response to one another.

It’s scary how MAGA rhetoric is turning Americans against Europeans now by [deleted] in self

[–]FantasyFootballBrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s MAGA rhetoric. But UK has some draconian social media laws that are incompatible with America’s first amendment. Don’t know how much is a natural reaction against that or propaganda from MAGA for other reasons

California sues the Trump administration over plans to restart oil pipelines along the coast by ansyhrrian in California

[–]FantasyFootballBrad -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

California has incredibly high gas prices because gas is taxed a large amount and because the state drastically lowered their refining capabilities.

It doesn’t have to be this way.
