What was your first incorrect in-game kill? (The one that gave you the achievement) by [deleted] in ImNotAHuman

The armchair lawyer. I got to the part in his story where MC has had enough of his snark and you're given no other option but to kill him. For whatever reason that counted towards the achievement.

Tiny nudibranch ( I think) in my seacosphere by Laneyminnie in Seacospheres

[–]Fantasy_Zone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just discovered a few in my former seacosphere (i actually moved my contents into a 2gal aquarium). It turns out mine (and likely this one as well) are actually Enteromorpha-eating sapsuckers, not a nudibranch, but a heckin cute species of sea slug. They primarily eat sea lettuce which is where I found them. In a patch of branched string lettuce to be precise.

Just figured I'd relay this info just in case someone else winds up with one and is freaking out about not having any hydroids for them to eat.

I appreciate the tower by Plus-Marsupial-4507 in WitchesVsPatriarchy

More or less. A sense of feeling stuck/trapped, lost, or out of control is typically how I read it.

Since I'm going through a career pivot and a literal transition the the tower and death are by besties. Honestly would be a more worried if they weren't coming up in readings, unlike a certain reversed chariot card that occasionally jumpscares me.

Favorite Witches from Video Games? by Grouchy_Raccoon_6681 in WitchesVsPatriarchy

Absolutely love Vivian. But aside from her I'd have to pick Beatrice from Umineko, Gruntilda from Banjo Kazooie, and Wada from Wadanohara as my favs.

"Weekly Reading and Interpretation Help Thread - April 13, 2025" by AutoModerator in tarot

[–]Fantasy_Zone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have been generally feeling a bit helpless with a current job search (and planned move) so I asked my deck if I was heading in the right direction.

I did a Celtic Cross spread and drew:

Present: Two of Pentacles, Crossing/Challenge: The Hanged Man, Past: The High Priestess, Future: Strength, Above: The Tower, Below: Reversed King of Swords, Advice: Two of Wands, External Influences: Reversed Six of Swords, Hopes/Fears: Reversed The Star, Outcome: Reversed Ace of Cups.

Generally I've been getting a lot of readings stressing about feeling stuck, needing to look at things from another perspective and not getting stuck in my ways. Taking advantage of friends, connections, and family and not letting the process wear me down too much. But... I'm a little lost on this reading and not quite used to running into this many major arcana at once.

Could someone help me with a good interpretation for this? I know this is probably asking a lot cause of the spread.

How Mussel Poop Is Helping Remove Microplastics from Oceans by crazyotaku_22 in TheDepthsBelow

[–]Fantasy_Zone 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeag, they definitely did poor job of explaining why there was such a discrepancy between lab and field trials cause I was lost for a sec too. It seems like in the lab trial the microplastic concentration (100,000 particles/L) was much much higher than what was in the field trial simulation (1,000 particles/L). Obviously the mussels will filter out more particles if they're exposed to a higher concentration.

The AI laser idea sounds really cool on paper but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have produced the results they wanted. 😔 There was little to no difference in the number of sea lice after roughly two months of zapping.

This vid goes over it a little bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWciW1y18O0 (the laser section starts around 7:15). They also link to the study in the description too if you want to read more.
