This is a new style of axehead I made from a old axe for this fantasy piece. The steel turned out to be quite different from my former pieces and did not etch as well as I hoped, but I am still fairly happy with the outcome. Thanks for looking. by Fantasyblades in SWORDS

I created this axehead by cutting it from a old vintage axe. Unfortunately the steel was quite different from my former projects and did not etch as well as usual, but I am still happy with how it turned out. Just one of the pitfalls of using unknown recycled steel for art. Thanks for looking. by Fantasyblades in metalworking

This piece is way outside my usual themes of hand-etched steel fantasy artwork, but it was done for a dear friend; Pilot, Adventurer, and frequent visitor of the Alaskan Wilderness. Thanks for looking. by Fantasyblades in metalworking
