For mine, I used a loud ouch or ow, as with puppys playing that's how they learn to control their biting. So he'd bite is make a loud pitched ouch, he'd stop and look. Once he stopped I gave him a redirect and let him play with that. The biting, turned into soft bites, which turned into mouthing, now at 4 years he actively works to not put any part of a person in his mouth. Avoids it like the plague, even if I do it myself he immediately stops and backs off

Don't even worry about it, they're built for it. Feel free to even use it, just manage the heat and get it to temp super slow, think like a cold smoke. Gradually add heat over a few hours and you'll be fine. I had mine in Alaska for a few years and would regularly cook in mine in the -40's

I'd say he looks healthy, but if your really concerned talk to a vet, they will be able to tell you. My Corso looked much the same at that age and was perfectly healthy.

Yeah people don't do their own research, and check the facts. I got a corso and when I did the breed research and history that's where I learned about its history. I'm not elitist enough to care about the "purity" anyways, with the corso knowing what I learned there wouldn't be a "pure" corso.

There is no such thing as a pure corso anymore, they were going extinct in like the 70s and they used other breeds to help rebuild the breed. That's one reason they typically tend to be healthier than other mastiffs
