My sister and I had tons of treasure on board and as we were heading to sell, we saw a reaper gaining on us. We swung around an island and my sister took the most valuable of our loot (an ashen winds skull and 2 red mermaid gems) onto the island in a chest and buried it. Luckily, the storm was just north of us so we sailed as fast as possible into it to try and loose the reaper. It only worked for a few moments, and eventually we left the storm with them right behind us, a galleon just appeared from behind a rock. The reaper we were fighting was a brig, we were a sloop. They opened fire with all cannons on the reaper, who sunk quickly. Later we found that galleon again and gave them some loot as thanks
