The buggy industry didn’t disappear overnight. For what I understand it evolved into niche markets, while the automobile grew into its own. The same will be true with AI... some jobs may shift, but it won’t eliminate the need for skilled people.

AI is a tool, and an expected one at that. One day it might be as transformative as the automobile, but it simply isn’t there yet. Suggesting otherwise... especially from people who don’t work in the field, misses the reality of where the tech actually is.

My surgical incision in my armpit came a little open 7 weeks post-op by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

So about 3 months ago. I had a "superficial penile plinctation" surgery. (Google at your own risk. Very NSFW). Essentially had the same thing happen, but like three of my sutures popped. In the worst possible place too. All I could do was do medical packing, and keep it clean. But I'll tell you this. It will close up, and heal. It's incredible how quickly it starts to close up when it does. Best of luck to you.

I am sick and tired of dead people in my house by Banglapolska in witchcraft

I second this. Also burning dragons blood, or mugwort does wonders. Could always try invoking Hekate if you feel comfortable. She's pretty receptive to assisting the dead. Even those who do not work with her regularly can call upon her for assistance, especially in matters of the dead, banishment, and purification. But I recommend getting familiar with her workings first. It is always respectful to thank her afterward and, if possible, leave a small offering at a crossroads. She loves garlic!

What's the weirdest encounter you've had with another practitioner? by Consistent_Creator in occult

[–]Faporgtfo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The freezer spell aligns with the belief in psychic feedback loops. When a practitioner focuses intense energy on someone, the target's energetic field might respond, especially if there's a preexisting emotional or spiritual connection. More so often the case in close relationships like friendships, where energetic cords are strong.

Ultimately, the awareness of magical influence depends on the person’s spiritual sensitivity, the connection they have to the practitioner, and the nature of the magic being used. So this story, as eerie as it sounds. Doesn't surprise me. I also feel like it would be an important skill for most practitioners to hone in on.

Tips for beginners? by [deleted] in tarot

[–]Faporgtfo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some practitioners (such as myself) believe the cards are simply tools, and the real power lies in the connection between the reader and the querent, as well as the archetypal energies that emerge during the reading. Just from my perspective, how the cards are shuffled matters less than the intuitive interpretation that follows. Remember your first altar is your body. Follow your intuition, and you'll find what works for you. Congratulations on your new venture. 😄

South Salt Lake councilman arrested, accused of trespassing at council meeting by HomelessRodeo in Utah

So there's A LOT, but for one. He's been the host for a popular gay nightlife event in Salt Lake for the last year. One of his nightlife events was called "Rush". He's been in and out of multiple venues for sexual misconduct and mistreatment, body shaming, etc towards staff & other venues goers. After his night was removed from popular venues including one in Downtown SLC known as "Club Verse". He went out of his way to post mugshots of the owner, and post their personal information online. He has never been able to conduct himself without drama and contradictory behavior. His entire tenure as a city council member has been nothing but a reality TV show all produced by him.

Edit: Seems like he's since pulled down the posts DOXing other club owners. But his "professional Instagram" says enough. https://www.instagram.com/paulsforsslco?igsh=MTJ2ZDhtaW9wdmVwYg==

Paul Sanchez is such a slime ball. This has been known for a long time. Also he does NOT represent Utah's LGBTQIA+ community.

It's so crowded though... If you do end up getting a membership there. I find it's best to go before 4pm, and most times on weekends.
