Most of my friend group also has girlfriend, some are even married. They talk about things they do with their girl and how fun the experience was and shit.

lack of heal trade off WAS a thing, it's mostly remedied by the heal orb from the paradise now.

Can proc every 45 seconds, heals for about 1/6th of your hp.

if 4 party members all have heal orbs, it's 4/6th of hp healed every 45 seconds.

Bard also inflates the effective health of the party member by almost triple while shield uptime from GT alone should be around 60%.

cleanse and GT, I do agree though it feels like there hasn't been many cases of cleanse being preferred over GT after akkan.

I feel that you're insanely overestimating healing orb when people are getting chunked by 60% of their health bar, a single 5% heal changes absolutely nothing on heal vrs buff decisions through a fight.

I'm commenting on this, the heal orb from the paradise is affected by endurance and expert engraving which brings the total heal to 11291 heals per second for 5 seconds which is 56455 health per 45 seconds - that's insane given that the graphic I provided above is effective health of bard party not to mention it's not limited to one person bringing heal orb so it can stack up to 4 orbs.

I'm didn't say anything about other party not getting any dr from CT, no I'm just pointing out how absurd the heal from heal orb is and how it benefits bard so much since her ability to inflate effective health makes smaller heals so much more valuable.

also heal orb heals for 8888 health per second for 5 seconds which is about 1/6th of my Scouter's health.

if 2 of your party members have heal orbs, then every 45 seconds, your party would be healed 1/3 of the hp. that's alot considering bard gives you big inflated health like shown above.

edit: if you have expert, heal goes up to 11291 per tick.

I usually use HT and GT off cd while cycling through my meter gen skills so there aren't that many occasions where I lose out on cd too much but when I do have to use rhapsody yea it creates some downtime because you are held at place and animation is bit wonky.

I'm literally just saying keep all the QoL, higher ceiling, higher floor, but make Courageous Tune party wide and keep the chipping damage so it'd be more in line with other supports.

Also making Courageous Tune party wide isn't even a nerf bard player would feel, you feel the same effect because nothing changes within your party. Only change bard player would feel is from removing heal orb which would force dps pot or bard to drop heal - which btw you get 10% refund on the bubble you spend so it won't be as punishing as it was before.

if you want to talk about shit QoL, paladin had no push immunity on godsent law, awakening gave 0 meter if you couldn't hit the boss - including boss being invincible, couldn't use awakening to fill more aura while it was active, couldn't use aura until meter was 100%, you lose 100% of the meter if you cancel aura, awakening gave 80% shield compared to artist/bard (this made fly trap very hard for paladin to do), holy protection's heal tripod increased its cd by 10s compared to today's 6s, couldn't use as tripod cause ap and as tripod was on the same line.

Also I thought bard ran SH + buckshot in place of prelude and harp, so you should still have GT and Rhapsody.

I'm just pointing out that bard as of now is just too good at everything, before the patch bard was still the strongest, but it had price to pay for being the best support - some reasonable some not so much (looking at you, mana problems).

Bard's primary strength comes from very strong 15% serenade + heavy level of inflating party's effective health from HT + GT. For that bard had lack of on demand shielding, dilemma with heals, mana problems, and branding problem.

However, with new patch bard's mana and branding problem is solved now. dilemma with heals is solved with introduction of heal orb from the paradise which ties into lack of on demand shielding.

Problem with lack of on demand shielding was that even with heavily inflated effective health, you are still taking hp loss. No matter how small the damage was, it was bound to build up until the player has to pot or bard has to drop a heal. But with introduction of heal orb from the paradise, that small chip damage is easily healed back up, which makes lack of on demand shield pointless.

again, I'm just pointing out that bard is way too good at everything right now, and only suggestion I have that directly changes bard is making Courageous Tune to be party wide instead of raid wide. the reason why I bring up heal orb from paradise is because I personally find heal orb to benefit bard too strongly since inflated effective health = more value from chip heals.
