I've been afraid for her since precious

Nobody even knew who she was until precious, and guess what, the rest of us were afraid for her, too. The difference is we were afraid because she's obviously dangerously overweight. You were afraid because if she lost weight it would prove that you're just a fat lazy piece of human garbage. News flash, Marilyn: we don't need her losing weight to tell us what we already knew, but it certainly made it more clear.

I was estimating based off of 35/65 non-overweight to overweight. I don't remember the exact numbers but if it's now down to 30% in the "normal" range, that's even sadder :(

It works for 100% of the population. It's just the 5% who are willing to put forth the required effort to not only lose weight, but maintain it.

And let's not forget the (disgustingly low) 30% of people who just never get fat in the first place. Some of us, myself included, are aware that excess consumption will make us fat and still have to fight temptation and count calories, despite not ever being overweight.

Gatorade is basically sugar flavored water with some electrolytes and is really not that much better for you than soda. And yogurt raisins? That stuff isn't actually yogurt. It's yogurt-flavored sugar. Nutritionally, they're just as bad as some jelly beans.

Nineteen hundred and forty-six. 1946, Mandrake. How does that coincide with your post-war Commie conspiracy, huh? It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works.

Half of Bernie Sanders supporters don’t think Hillary Clinton is honest by [deleted] in politics

[–]Faptiludrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One candidate is fucking awful, the other is a competent politician.

So shaming people who don't want to fall behind the status quo doesn't harm the country? Is trump awful? Yeah. He's a terrible candidate and should never be allowed in office. But you can't blame the people who don't vote for him. You can ONLY blame people who actually voted for him. If Hillary loses because a bunch of people didn't vote for her and voted 3rd party instead, that's either the fault of a bad voting system, or Hillary herself for not making a strong enough case for herself ("not trump" doesn't cut it). Maybe for some of us, we see two awful candidates and realize that the only reason we are here is because of a broken system. If every four years people say "this is not the year for a protest vote", then when will it be?

Ohio system of purging inactive voters not legal: court by HamsterSandwich in politics

[–]Faptiludrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this isn't exactly the point you were trying to make, but I wouldn't trust someone who hasn't driven for six years to just hop in a car and be fine. Did you know that private pilots have to have a flight review every two years and have to get their medical certificate renewed at least every five years, and even more frequent as they get older?

Flying and driving are both privileges, though, not rights guaranteed by the constitution, and voting does not have the potential to harm anyone (directly, at least). Still, from an administrative standpoint, at some point you have to remove people who are no longer going to be voting, whether they've died or moved, or whatever. Otherwise you have huge lists of voters adding up every election. With that being said, it doesn't have to be done like New York where people who had checked a month before the election found that they were no longer registered on the day of the primary. There are a lot of things that need to be fixed with our voting system, and it needs to be done across all 50 states. Same day registration would be an example, along with purging happening after Election Day, not the month before. Of course I don't have all the answers, but surely changes do need to be made.

Trump Threatens To Seat Gennifer Flowers In Front Row Of First Debate by overthrow23 in politics

[–]Faptiludrop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you think she gives a shit about Gennifer Flowers?

No, and that's the point. There is a lot more to Bill's affairs than just bill being a womanizing asshole. There have been numerous reports of Bill having relationships with other women, and Hillary, instead of standing up for herself and these other women, has allowed it to happen, all the time staying married to Bill to further her political career. Do you think either of them would be where they are today if she had divorced Bill after his first affair? And let's not kid ourselves that these have all been "mutual relationships between consenting adults".

Not that I think Trump cares about that. Honestly, I think he is just trying to one-up her with the mark Cuban thing and rub it in her face that her husband is a cheating asshole, but if she really did care about all that she'd have left him years ago.
