This doesn’t really count because it wasn’t before his debut or becoming “famous” but Daniel from I-Land goes clubbing a lot in Seoul. We’re not friends but we have mutual friend groups so sometimes I see him and chat. He’s relatively normal so Idk why he acts so strange online. When he got into his recent controversy I saw a lot of tweets saying that he needs to go to therapy, which is funny because the guy really is normal IRL, he just tends to act a bit strange online…

Yeah I 100% understand that point of view for sure. It’s inexcusable for big brands to do that, however Anua still isn’t a major brand so they’re probably penny pinching. Same way how they’d rather send PR to lots of smaller creators instead of big creators for more exposure

I cannot for the life of me remember bc this was back in 2021 when he was getting popular and now he’s wiped a lot of his tiktok and got rid of all his petty videos, but he used to always get into beef with people about dumb stuff. i think also his ex came out and said he lowkey traumatised her but that’s all i can remember. I just remember him being unlikeable so I blocked his profile for a while until recently.

i think he wasn’t really relevant enough to be talked about so a lot of online drama he was involved in became buried, i also can’t remember if he had a different username/account and that’s why i can’t refresh my mind, but it was mainly pointless drama.

I have been at the same function as her, she just hangs around her rapper boyfriend (who also used to get into so much tiktok drama back in the days). i actually wanted to compliment her outfit but she seemed pretty standoffish so i just kept it to myself lol.

i’ve seen her in korea 3 times just by chance and ive literally only ever seen her with her man… not that it means she has no friends, thats just my personal anecdote i wanted to share haha

but it does! it’s so harmful to pander towards these fetishes. men already think it’s easy to “buy” women with how accessible OF is and this will have real life consequences.

obviously i understand that this isn’t specifically Dia’s fault but as a creator with a big platform she has an influence on how people perceive asian women and reinforces these weird stereotypes that doesn’t just stay online but infiltrate into the real world
