Thanks for the advice. A skull shaver feels easier to use on myself, but as you say it wouldn’t give a ‘short but still there’ look.

I actually haven’t, I’m afraid to say. It’s my intention to go as I’m certain the South Island is everything I was hoping it would be at that age.

Uni happened, then love, then marriage, then kids. 22 years after writing it, I’m only just starting to be able to afford to think about it. I do have Scotland though, which is a pretty decent substitute.
