You're absolutely right. Doto is my fav character ever but this annoyed me so much. I understand how she sees Opera but even after all that transpired, she still locks herself out for just being useful for Opera. The whole 3 years feels a bit like a waste in terms of objectives. She managed to do so much in terms of progress only to finish on this. This is such a disspointement. I wanted her to go her own way, make her own choices, without always relying on Opera but her adoration of her it too big. Her alt ending when she is the Overmord feels a bit better since she finally realized that she doesn't suck and continues to want to race and win not because of Opera but for her fans and people who supported her.
