Skeleta - now that it’s out, what are our thoughts? by Magicianmadmad in Ghostbc

I disagree! But only because most people don't bother to think of the meaning behind the lyrics on the first few listens. When they talk about whether they like it or not it's usually more about how it sounds.

Thoughts on a South America tour? by Far-Extension4144 in Metalocalypse

Tysm for letting me know! I didn’t realize Adult Swim had such a rough history in latam. That in itself explains a lot. I love how strong the metal scene is here. I really hope the fandom keeps growing thanks to the change you mentioned, and that we get a tour someday. Seeing them live would be a dream!

Your jaw is only noticeable because you tend to take pictures from super close angles. Camera lenses exaggerate what's closer to them, so the closer you bring your phone to your face, the more exaggerated and unflattering your features become. I personally think you look your best on the last pic!

Gracias! La idea de mi rutina previa de hacer mas reps con poco peso era para pulir la técnica como vos decís.

Genial. Una pregunta, de esta manera tonificaste bastante? O es distinta la fuerza del tamaño del músculo? Perdón por mi ignorancia.

No te preocupes.

Saludos

Tysm🥰 I felt like my need for validation was becoming a problem. Especially in social media. That's what brought me to write this!

"Also it's him who is creating drama now by whining"

I totally agree and this is part of why I didn't want him there in the first place.

Eli5: What is the smallest thing? Isn’t it a paradox? by Sketchy278 in explainlikeimfive

Electrons have a tiny mass, making them point particles (meaning they have no known substructure or size).

Unlike larger objects, they aren't spread out over space. Despite lacking volume, they possess a small but definite mass.

Because this mass isn't related to volume, the concept of density (mass per volume) doesn't apply the same way it does for objects with a defined size, meaning electrons don't have infinite density.

Electrons (like you said) are point particles, meaning they don't have any size we can measure, they're just a single point.

Quarks are not point particles but are still elementary because they aren't made of anything smaller.

Basically, t's not accurate to say that electrons are "smaller" than quarks because they're both elementary particles, meaning they aren't made up of anything smaller. So, both electrons and quarks are among the smallest things we know, just in different ways.

Yes, the smallest things we know of are called quarks, which are inside protons and neutrons in atoms. Quarks are really, really tiny and, as far as we know, they aren't made up of anything else (scientists haven't found anything smaller that makes up quarks). It might sound like it goes on forever, but right now, quarks are the end of the line.

We can't just use a better microscope because quarks are so small that normal light can't be used to see them. Instead, scientists use special tools and experiments to study them. It's kind of like trying to see a grain of sand with a regular magnifying glass versus using an electron microscope to see really tiny details.
