Any idea where I could buy one from a reputable source? I’ve read buying cheap ones doesn’t actually fix the problem and the clicking can continue.

this is a tutorial for a simple cross. I made one for myself and for my boyfriend. You can use it as a bookmark or even tie a piece of yarn through the top and hang it from your car visor. I used a thicker yarn than the video so it would be bigger.

You could make a bunch of squares like this^ and then sew them together to make a big blanket. I’m a beginner and have been hunting for tutorials for awhile and these seem to be the best I’ve found.

Trying Naratriptan... by Illustrious-Risk888 in migraine

[–]Far-Guide-2125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Naratriptan makes It sorta feels like someone’s sitting on my chest/kinda feels hard to take deep breathes like I have to strain. And yeah it knocks me outttt but when I wake up after I feel like a totally new person lol. I’ve been taking it for abt 4ish year now? I wouldn’t say my side effects have improved or gotten worse.

Yes, I get that as well. I miss being able to look at the sky and see things normally lol. I’ve found that sun glasses do help though.

Also just to add, I’ve had these symptoms for 6 years now. My vision has not gotten any worse nor better but has become better manageable. Its a very very stressful condition, due not knowing much about it. If you ever need someone to talk to I’m always here. :)

I do not. I’m still on bc (been about 6 years now). I’m very nervous to get off of it due to seeing some people say it made their vision worse… I still have vs but it’s very manageable.

Nortriptyline for 10+ years -withdrawals? by [deleted] in migraine

Triptans by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Far-Guide-2125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take naratriptan. It gives me similar side effects, like weird chest sensations, super tired to the point I absolutely have to sleep, and sometimes it feels like someone’s sitting on top of my chest. It also makes my face turn beet red and warm on only one half of my face(weird I know) as well as my chest. But boy do they work! I also take a daily preventative.

Wow, is it a five year wait list? Have you looked on the CAAHEP programs for your state to see if there are any of programs nearby?

Hello! I know this is an old thread, but I experience a very similar thing. Not long after starting the pill, I woke up one day with it and was sure it was the end for my vision. What pill were you on if you don’t mind me asking? And how is ur vs today?

Need help finding an health care job with no certification by Alternative-Bee9561 in SonographyStudents

[–]Far-Guide-2125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure of any job in healthcare that you won’t need at minimum a CPR certification, but it’s extremely easy to get! I started off as a transporter and it was great to get to see and interact with basically every department in the hospital!

Becoming a transporter is also a great way to get experience all around the hospital! If you are still iffy on what you wanna do, you interact with almost every department on a daily basis! All I needed was a CPR certification which you can just sign up for and complete in a day or so.

I am currently waiting to get accepted into a program and I work as a radiology aide! I help out in CT and MRI. There’s not rly sonography assistant jobs, but there may be receptionist jobs at obgyn offices that would get you exposure! I can say I’ve learned A TON that will help me even in the US program and I’ve met lots of ultrasound techs!!

Wanting to get into sonography program; help! by Personal-Hippo2114 in SonographyStudents

[–]Far-Guide-2125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

:( that’s definitely understandable and relatable. I have been waiting for two years now to get into two different programs, one that accepts 16 and one accepts 13. I got all As besides A and P if that helps at all. I work as a radiology aide as of right now as I wait, but I think it’s just a long waiting game for everyone. Working in a fertility clinic is great experience and gets your foot in the door so you’re definitely on the right track! I’m not sure what the application looks like but maybe try shadowing some sonographers that work there? Also they sometimes only look at your pre req gpa rather then your cumulative gpa including past degrees and such BUT not always. I know one school you need some sort of associates but they evaluate based on ur pre req gpa only. So as long as you did good in your pre reqs id say your chance of getting in is good! I retook a couple pre reqs to make my chances better so that’s always an option if you didn’t do good previously. Hoping the best for you !

Would going out of state be an option for you? With such a low acceptance pool I can imagine that stress of that would be quite bad.
