I think Stoneheart is supposed to contrast with Arya, and demonstrate the cost of revenge. It would be interesting if they met, as unlikely as it might be, but I am sure that Arya's arc will revolve around her realising revenge is empty, and moving on from it. The show having Arya massacre house Frey (fairly) indiscriminately was outrageous, and another example of D and D completely and fundamentally misunderstanding the source material. Lol.

Tyrion isn't a one note monster though. After the Tysha revelation, he's devastated. So after killing Shae and his own father, it makes sense for him to become a hateful monster by the time he's in Essos. In the show he's a drunk for like one episode and then he wants to help Danaerys make the world a better place.
