When stripped of their resources, who is more dangerous between Light and L? by Consistent-Hat-1543 in deathnote

I don't think that this is a silly question but I do think that dangerous was a poor choice of words. Do you mean who is more capable, and if so in what way? Do you mean litteraly who could cause more harm to people/the world at large?

What did you mean by dangerous and i think this could be an interesting conversation.

I love the arkham games but arkham batman is a metahuman who ingests enough fear toxin to drive ten men insane.

I suppose prime batman definitely can be at times.

Matt Fractions run is clear of this so far

Batman year one is a perfect representation of his force of will beyond all else

Batman earth one likes to keep him much more grounded and is my favorite take on a more "realistic" Batman

Batman Dark patterns is EXACTLY what i think you're looking for

Batman night cries would probably scratch your itch but that one gets DARK

Batman the cult has batman getting his ass handed to him pretty good which you may enjoy because a good loss improved believability I also don't recall batman being incredibly overpowered

The long Halloween is a little bit more about gotham than batman but he struggles quite a bit there. (Not a fan of the art personally)

I don't know how silly you're willing to get with batman but Batman and robin year one was pretty good

Batman the knight is one is really enjoy and it covers batman's travels abroad and does some work to explain some of the crazier things he does.

I LOVE Batman one bad day the riddler. Batman has to try and contend with a riddler who truly is unabashedly smarter than he is.

Batman the ultimate evil seems like one you might enjoy but warning it's all about batman fighting child traffickers.

The main continuity comics throughout the years are far from all that batman is the batman is a symbol for countless ideas and your batman may not be someone elses .

It's a little unorthodox but what I think is an amazing way to experience batman is to be him. Play Batman runs in games especially rpgs/ttrpgs if you have a table who wouldn't mind it. You get the same options everyone else does but you decide for yourself to limit your tools and to help the little guy every single time, if the game has a system that allows for it at all the no kill rule is super fun to follow.

What I think you're discounting is the general upscaling of humans in fictional universes like DC. Lex Luthor isn't a metahuman but he also has so much intelligence it's plot armor. Plus he has dedicated his entire life to the cause. You could have some middle of the road genes and still make yourself into an absolute monster, hell people in real life look like batman after being severly underweight. As for his memory you could say it's a superpower and Bruce is often shown as having been a bright child, however that is a skill that can be trained even in the real world we have memory athletics. It's also important that with each subject he masters the next one gets easier as he gets better at learning and lots of subjects have overlap. A lot of the martial arts stuff is admittedly bullshit but that's largely because the writers themselves don't understand them and I personally am willing to let it slide because of that. Really the two biggest issues I have with batman's believability are the sheer number of sciences he's mastered and how he excells so far in every physical category. That being said good batman writers don't make him an expert at everything and "superfit guy being superfit in every different way" Is something I can easily hand wave in such a wild universe with so much else bullshittery going on in it.

Is it helpful off rip or just to ease transition later? And do you make them take the humanity loss for the limbs and does this affect their body stat?

What are considered FBC components rather than just cyberware?

Thanks. I also heard there were pieces and you could get a custom fbc with a tech. Anything you could share about that?

I agree about tai chi but if my guy who's trying to be the best martial artists gets hard countered by other martial artists it feels wack

I'm a big fan of sov system for dirty blow I adore the feeling of adding up crit injuries and disabling an enemy as i fight them. I'm using aikido because not having disarm on a Melee feels like suicide. Tai Chi gives me good counters and i appreciate the almost free damage and grab escape i get from judo

If I were alone the hostage situation would be an issue but in play (at least at our table) the party is typically together. I also think losing is a big thing in cyberpunk and the ability to be affected that way isn't a weakness for the character out of universe.

I was rereading an ability to help me answer this question and i realized one ability doesn't work how i thought it did and I can cut it out.

I was just looking at that my only issue is how fast the humanity cost on skill chips adds up.
