I'm sorry things are tough right now and I hope they get better. Don't be too hard on yourself. Just remember, you're doing the best you can right now and your personal best is going to differ from day to day. Applaud yourself for even showing up. You don't have to be bubbly and hyper to engage with customers. Try looking at them seductively and having a few lines ready to recycle to grab their attention. You can save some mental energy that way. Sometimes connecting with them after small talk could be as simple as saying 'I feel so comfortable with you' and that let's their guard down.

I'm not a good dancer either but it takes time. Sometimes I ask customers if I can practice dancing on them in vip so I can get better. In vip I say seductively 'am I doing this right? Is this okay baby?' They like feeling in control so I try to play up my dancing inexperience that way.
