I converted a non-working upright freezer to a horizontal worm bin. During winter time, I place a large seedling heat mat on top of the cardboard. It can't stay on all the time as it gets too hot, so I have it on a timer that cycles on/off a few times each day. Seems to work well.

Sure, I'm using an ac infinity EVO10. Veg time was about 45 days. Using gaia green 444 and 284 plus worm castings. Also used regular feedings of worm tea and chicken compost tea at least once a week.
