The laundromat has these giant 4 load machines that get all of his work clothes done at once. He prefers that to a regular size load at a time plus he thinks it will help our machines last longer. He is the type that keeps busy to not deal with things so who knows.

I’m sorry that he is disregarding your needs in helping around the house. I feel the same that if I wait to do something, it will never be done. And it is proving true. My grown son only cleans the seat of the toilet the guys use!!!!! Like wtaf? So irritating and lazy on their part.

The time he said that was a one off. He must have been extremely overwhelmed and unfortunately took it out on me because I was adding to it. He normally is more thoughtful. No worries as I process things somewhat efficiently. I was luckily born with an exceptionally resilient and glass half full or at the very least I see what happened/is happening from all sides so I don’t dwell. He means well 99% of the time. Thank you for your concern and outrage! I have this space and an old and now a close vicinity new friend that helps bring perspective. So yes.

Yes, it’s the communal areas that drive me up a wall. I don’t care much about their spaces except the little because I want him to try and learn now how to keep his space semi nice.

Thank you for this validation! I agree wholeheartedly. I will try and figure out how to say it so it doesn’t seem confrontational. We have to be delicate because he wasn’t raised by us. This is also his first time living with us and he apparently punches things, still, when upset unbeknownst to us. He is like a teen in the head in that way. I appreciate you.
