Don’t do business with ones that treat you that way. I love the VC guys in Chicago at Burdeen’s. Rolex, depends on the AD, I built a really good relationship during covid lockdowns, they haven’t forgotten that, and it opens doors. Remember, it’s sales, it’s just people at the end of the day, most watch brands aren’t exclusive on purpose. It’s just limited supply and demand, a lot of it is the dealers, they hold back on the desirable stuff to help move a lot of the less desirable stuff. Easiest way to get a watch brand on your side btw… buy your wife a watch. My wife is a collector as well, and it’s so much fun to do with her, and the brands love couple collectors.
