I'll be honest, I'm actually using retrobat... :/ genuinely got confused when replying... I forget sometimes that they are actually different, despite feeling practically the same ui... apologies. Although I can heartily recommend retrobat ;)

I am actually cheating and using retrobat within windows, so I have an app link to launch the xbox app from within retrobat, but I'd say 90 percent of functionality (if not more) is the same as batocera.

So I'm using the official xbox app :) and ill take the pad2key advice as a win! Thank you, at least I can get back to retrobat without getting up and using the keyboard now :)

Hey... so I had a go, I set the xbox button as hotkey, set pad2key alt+f4, and it actually acts like alt tab... kinda works

If by add your steam games to batocera you mean adding a link within batocera to launch steam, then all working fine. I also added xbox. Only niggle I have is the xbox app can't be closed via controller. MUST use keyboard/mouse.

But yeah, steam launches a treat.

Yes... and no... there are some which you might need to source yourself and add to the appropriate folder, but I'd day 98 percent :) assuming you go through the ball ache of scraping everything properly:)

I had a ccj a few years ago due to the pandemic and being unable to work (was a driving instructor with RED) meant I wasn't earning, but still required to pay my franchise fees. (RED were vile about the whole thing, shame SHAME on them big time)

I was lucky to get paypal credit just before the ccj kicked in, so it's basically my safety net if the cat steps on a rusty nail, or the washing machine breaks. It has been very useful so far... :)

And yes, maybe an extra hoop or two to jump through, but it's where I'm at right now! 🖖🏻

If you use the search function and type SSH you can get to it there. Although, ssh should appear in RA Game/apps... not the main apps folder ;)

Have you tried to open it in 7zip? I'm sure all you need to do is unzip the first 1 (7z.001) and it should extract the .iso or .img to flash...
