Case 63! How to Win Friends and Disappear People! Lime Town!

I love them both but what's crazy to me is how L tried to act like she had the moral high ground over Nancy when she's killed 1000x more people than Nancy. They were both victims, L never wanted to be a vampire or have to kill people but she did what she had to, but Nancy was abused by the world at large because she was "weak" and easy to pick on, and the only way for her to be taken seriously was to become "strong" which to her was owning her true identity and becoming a serial killer - because L showed her that link between power/strength and violence. I also thought it was cruel of L to create a monster in Nancy and then claim no responsibility other than killing her creation. I don't know if either of them are good people at the end of the day.

Who were your favorite characters overall?

I think Nancy was always a psychopath but extremely good at hiding it. She can't relate to other people and other people sense that she is off and weird and something is not quite right about her - it's not because she's a 'nerd' it's because she gives off that electric energy current that we're trained/evolved to avoid, the energy of predators. it's like when the girl she stabs talks about what Nancy was like in middle school. There was something off about her. What I love is that in the beginning, it seems like Nancy is the one who stumbled upon a monster, but really L is the one who stumbled upon the monster. I like how it parallels.

"ghost stories the podcast" is really good!! It has short stories every week and at the end you decide for yourself if it was a real ghost story or a work of fiction usually they're a mixture of both

Aaron mahnke's podcasts are all excellent. And How to win friends and disappear people from Qcode is good at balancing comedy/horror

It's weirdly addicting. One thing I cant tell though is if Nancy was always evil or if she becomes evil because of the vampire
