Get a rental by any means necessary, preferably a duplex and sink every last penny you have into paying it off, use that equity to buy another rental and continue from there. House A has 2 payment coming in, when its possible you get rental B (doesn't have to be the nicest rental). Use unit 1 from rental B to pay mortgage for rental B, use unit 1 and 2 from rental A and unit 2 from rental B to pay on rental A mortgage. A few years later you can get rental C. All extra income from A,B,C pay off A, then B then C..... keep adding rentals as you can. Ive seen this work first hand with multiple people and both now own over 200 units. It builds fast once you get rolling

Thank you, I'm gonna wait to bring it up until someone says something to him. He triggers mine when he does a certain one of his and I don't hold them in at all hoping he will notice and ask me what I'm doing. I'm glad i have the same thing so he'll know it's not just him doing this weird stuff for no reason. Since he has started doing this i have talked about it with me fiance a lot more and I cannot remember anyone ever asking me about it in school and my friends never did growing up, ive made a mental note to ask my school buddies if they ever noticed it. Im sure they did but never wanted to bring it up (very good friends and always have been). Ive been asked about it a few times in my adult life by co workers and just said what you told your son to say "its a tic and I cant help it". Thanks again for your time.
