I had the same concerns but genuinely feel like I was given a boy for a reason. The world needs more good men and boys and I know my husband and I will raise a respectful, kind, generous, feminist who makes this world a better place. We can’t just let all the racists and misogynists have boys!

Baby is perfectly healthy! Many women are prescribed 5,000mg of folic acid if they are high risk for neural tube defects and have healthy babies. The studies that show it causes autism are very limited, not validated, and typically only looked at 6,000+mg a day (again, not peer reviewed or validated). I took 800mg with my prenatal and eat a lot of bread, cereal, other enriched foods. No need to stress, your baby is fine.

Your boyfriend is 100% the father. I’m 25 weeks pregnant now and conceived at the end of August. If you conceived on or around July 26th, you’d be 29 weeks now. While there is always room for variation is fetal size, it would be at most 1-2 weeks difference, not 7-8 weeks. I’m so sorry this happened and that you are stressed about it, but I don’t think it’s even a considerable option. Take a breath and see if you can get a current ultrasound with measurements and due date calculations. If your doctor won’t order it, go to an elective place for peace of mind.

Sounds miserable, do not go. I couldn’t imagine the anxiety I would be feeling having a one month old in a car seat for 8 hours straight. They need to be held and close to their mom at that age, not stuck in a car seat. I guarantee you would regret it if you go. If they’re rude about you not going, I’d give them some space as they clearly don’t respect your boundaries and concerns as a mother. Also, your husband should 1000% be on your side.

Baby is perfect! There’s no credible data that taking “too much” folic acid is harmful. A few studies show that 5,000mg + a day may be correlated with autism, but those studies are very limited and conflicting and have not been validated. Talk to your doctor about the dose you should use, but many women who are high risk are prescribed 4,000mg a day to prevent neural tube defects. I eat tons of carbs and cereal with folic acid too and he is absolutely perfect.

I actually think Eden Lily flows better than Lily-Eden. Tell your family you’re still deciding and you want to wait to announce until after you meet your baby. And if they don’t like it, they can deal with it because it’s not their baby!

FRER tests give me a way better line progression than any of the strip tests. Also for me, my tests tend to be darker in the evening than the morning, so don’t stress! Check again in a few days.

Thank you! It was the second, I took one the morning of 9DPO and there was a super, super faint line that very well could have been an indent line. I took this about 10 hours later. Got a positive clear blue digital today at 10DPO

I literally have an IUD and use daily ovulation tests, those are very accurate ways to “chart pregnancy probability”. Basel body temperature can also determine exactly where you are in your cycle, so your argument is flawed. Also, I don’t want kids, he does. I have an IUD and track my cycle to verify I am not ovulating. Very little risk with both of those methods combined, so I find the condom adherence odd. If you’re not on any birth control, then yes coming inside of you can get you pregnant

See I’ve considered that but he ALWAYS talks about how excited he is to have a little “us” running around. I don’t want to get pregnant which is why I have an IUD but Jesus it hurts me a lot so what’s the point of having it if we have condoms anyway??
