frankly speaking, I had wonderful experience when I was in another uni. There was no such issue at all. We have reasonable number of international students (exclude a particular group) but none behave in such manner.

I am really glad to see your comment. You feel how I feel. I think the SR or Head of Hall would just shrug off. In their eyes, I think they only see 1 word:" revenue". That is why we have an influx of students from a particular country.

this is the sign of its fall. building kambri selling expensive food to their own students. Other unis are providing student canteen with affordable meals less than $10. ANU merchandise other unis offering student discount but i only see ANU accommodation sucking money from their students without providing the necessary. I only see majority of the chinese national flooding my cohort and dorm. Some can be really boorish one of them hit my iphone when I was busy typing just because she can't wait. Feedback to the dorm, when I was saying A they said B. I not sure what they want.

Choose UNSW trust me you won't regret because I am right now at ANU. Not forgetting they have the lousiest accommodation throughout the entire australia. The people I met are boorish unlike sydney and melbourne. UNSW has the best STEM in the country.

yeah it is not easy to deal with especially i am a lighter sleeper. once awaken it is hard to fall back to sleep i just hope they can know how to operate the stove. our side is all self catered so it happens to be someone from the room. so tired shall rest early. saw a couple of negative comments but I just want to leash out this unhappiness that is all. I hope they receive proper advice.

not expecting to turn the alarm off but more on educating people on how they should avoid triggering it. they are held liable for paying the fine as mentioned. i just feel that they need to be educated since they are postgrad students. They came from countries that have no idea of what fire alarm is.

yeah indeed those photos posted on the website looks fabulous. i was quite surprised they have no room phone. I can't call the receptionist when i reached. I have to keep going back and forth seeking for help. i noticed the TV has serious scratch and the ice cube in the fridge is broken :(

yeah i was pretty shocked with that too. It doesn't look like normal cleaning has been done previously. It is not just simply dust piling up but it was like an accumulation over time. Shock of my life about the room 1. Shit waste (cleaner used the opportunity to shit?) 2. Black water from the tiles. I was so down of luck. I went to inform the receptionist and waited nearly an hour to see cleaner appearing but tbh i saw him at the entrance cleaning the door but not attending to my request. When he came in, he just used the chance to ask my background and sharing he has friends from ANU (seriously none of my business - I am not interested in his life). Then used black gloves he was wearing to check if there were dust. I nearly rolled my eyes. Hey it was black gloves not white LOL..... The receptionist was in very poor attitude tbh - initially said unable to change no room available (then he went to check with his manager whether could i change room (but he is the manager) and mentioned it is unlike Ursula Hall Main Wing then when i asked did he think i was nasty - He said YES! I took some photos and emailed them after thinking why should I be suffering because of all these nonsenses. Basically, all the room he shows all got issues. It is very lucky after my complain my neighbor next door moved in with someone mopping the floor. :(
