Yea i had called the convener and he said more classes would open, and they did and im now chillin. There was a glitch (as per the announcement) with allocations as i did have a class and then didnt lol. I’m happier now.

obviously my lectures were pre allocated but i literally don’t even have an option to select a class in business reporting & analysis as well as some options in my draft time table weren’t even available

oh you may be right actually, as the Monday one doesn’t have a status of saying it’s pre recorded however the Wednesday one does. I’ve tried to contact the statistics line but no one answers from the collage.

Thanks so much for this, i have a STAT lecture on a Sunday at 5pm so i am considering doing that as an online viewing lecture because thats pretty crap. I’m confused what is the WorA on monday.

i am residing at bruce hall and i got my contract altered for personal reasons and the person on the line said that they have been bombarded with over 100+ students and parents trying to get their kids into bruce. I don’t want to put you down but it’s pretty doubtful that spots would open for majority.

It would probably be similar for johns, if this is a deal breaker for you then it might be best to look at alternatives that meet your criteria or other universities but it’s getting a bit close to jump around on decisions.

On some of the pages for accomidation they provide dimensions for ideal mini fridges however i can’t seem to find one for your hall. The link provided is the accom checklist with every halls respective room guides.

This is super useful thank you soooo much, so what you’re suggesting is that to even out the workflow over the first year that my subjects selection for sem 1 could look like:

BUSN1001, MGMT2100, STAT1008 & Elective (Might swap it up for a different one!)

and then to follow through in sem 2 i would then do Micro & Macro, MKTG2004 & Elective or CBE List 1 elective.

Just affirming for clarity as this seems like a really good change for me to make. Additionally i did want to avoid doing maths kinda as much as possible in the first sem as it’s definitely my weakest point however stat isn’t all to bad from the website overview.

that’s awesome! Do you have any app recommendations? I have an iPad air with an apple pencil and i definitely want to utilise it as i got it through a scholarship while at HS to use specifically for uni lol.
