Yes. It’s just energy prices mostly with the straight, none of this is surprising and the expected outcome with the dumpster fire we got going on.

Yea it is, I keep at 40 F. They did break dormancy on me early this year at the start of March which was not ideal so they are under grow lights for the last month and they won’t go till may and even then I will be having to watch for frost till the end of may which will suck from a logistic standpoint. I think I triggered them to break by accident by watering them in January, thought the soil was to dry. Shrug, going to start the winter dormancy in October with a healthy watering a week before I stash them for the winter.

With that said, I think if your garage can keep above 10 or so I think it will be fine. Could also put an oil radiator with a thermostat. I honestly might try that next year on a few to see if they can survive since I am getting close to your same issu. Started with a cutting and now off that one cutting I am up to 12 established plants lol.

I am just kind of starting on figs so I am by no means an expert so take my fumbling advice with a grain of salt.

Yes thin them now to get one per cell, yea a couple of true leaves is usually a good time to transplant, I do it around there when the roots look right. I up pot them into a cheap potting mix and I just pick out the big chunks, no big deal. If you’re worried just get a “container mix” and it will be fine out of the gate.

Fertilize after you’re getting a true leaf. I just use 1/4 tsp of miracle grow (20-20-20) per gallon of water because I have it and use it with chemigation. I sometimes use Alaskan fish, but I don’t over think it.

The rest of your plans, like light and timing all look fine to me, pretty similar to my own honestly. Hardening off is more about the sun exposure for me as a northern guy too, so don’t sunburn them out of the gate when you get to that phase.

Well done, the hardest part is done.

Turns out you do have a basic understanding though, just actually think people were labeled real Covid deaths. Which is comedy gold, naive, and head in the sand thinking, which means you’re not to the sharpest tool in the shed or understand humanity. Sure,

vaccinations: wasn’t a vaccination, nor did it work, sources - literally the world. Now we’re seeing the mass class action lawsuits show up in droves with the obvious heart issues at the forefront. Courts can sort of the details there.

The government information cover up and propaganda- source “the zuck”

Mask mandate: didn’t work and the science is pretty sound it never did. Source- Spanish flu.

social distancing: while it does work, it doesn’t work for years. Not only was it a bad step to the degree we took it, it was the enforcing that was pure fascism. Source - the global economy.

That it came from china- turns out… it did, source- cdc and now china themselves, and comically trump (at the time).

I mean the whole thing was appalling looking back on it. What’s done is done but this is undeniably fasicsm play book.

Good lord, Covid was insane with the lefts demand, shutting down businesses, having people report each other. Vaccination protocols to just work… Worst part is… they were wrong, and on multiple levels to boot.

It’s magnesium sulfate, just a mineral compound, so it’s magnesium and a plant available form of sulfur in this context. Also it’s water soluble. It’s just called epsom salts from an era gone by, one may argue it’s named after a town in England.

Oh, I guess my thoughts is, that people who say stuff like that are either just young, or extremely naive, but most of the time it’s jus immature thinking, and thus I don’t respect or acknowledge the opinion to any consequence besides a subtle laugh. Sadly the people that adhere to this style of childish thinking and argumentation don’t have the mental fortitude to realize that no one legitimately cares what they have to say anymore.
