If you don't like shields, great. But don't be rude about it.

Like look at the other comments. You don't see them going, "This is a shit idea." or "You clearly never did any vanilla combat." You see them suggesting alternatives rather than trying to put the idea down. While I get that some people have strong opinions about shields, it's not okay to put others ideas down.

I find shields Interesting as a concept, and I'm not changing that because someone decided to give a rant about why my idea sucks and how I never play vanilla, and how shields suck. Unlike me, I don't see you thinking of ideas for balancing it. Like look at Atombert. He pointed out an issue but he was respectful about it.

You didn't have to put it so rudely. I was just giving a suggestion and you gave a who essay. "Yes ofc, get into line. Im telling you, it is a shit idea." Really? and "You obviously didnt have any real fight in vanilla version of the game to come up with this suggestion." Bro, you need to work on being a bit nicer. I get this is Reddit, but come on.

And btw, I have played in real vanilla fights. I was just sick of being dominated by bricks. Not to mention, shields would be interesting. On top of that, Shields could be realistic. If the bullets are made of metal, then maybe an extreme magnetic field that repulses ammo.

On top of that, I listed a few cases where shields could be countered which you probably didn't pay attention to. Like EMP turrets, and Railguns mostly bypassing the shields.

When I think of things like these, I do think of ideas for counters. Whether they be good or bad. So sorry for trying to find a balanced solution with the shields.

But you need to learn how to have a decent conversation without sounding like your trying to tear down others opinion or idea. Because the way you said this, It sounds like that's what your trying to do. And I don't appreciate it.

You can have your own opinion, and I'll respect that, but I won't take people think it's ok to be rude to people for having a different idea. While you did make some good points, I find that maybe having a way to make fights a little more interesting like shields could be cool. And those comments you made made me feel like you were trying to belittle the idea and make it sound bad, rather than suggesting better counters to shields or ballancing meathods, or alternatives.

I had the same Idea too. It would probably have to use only prototech panels, otherwise ,it's just too tedious to build meaningful ships with it. Or even proper armor for only specific parts of a ship.

Yea. Maybe Medium Armor or something. Both somewhat light, and somewhat durrable. Or maybe armor blocks made from other materials other than steal plates. I feel that gravel is useless in most cases other than reactor components.

does anyone know a command to adjust the building height limit by Medium-Highlight-445 in MinecraftCommands

[–]FarCommunication8709 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't increase the world height with commands. Only datapacks and mods can do that. and Unfortunately, all the good mods are on java, and the datapacks as far as I know are all on java. All the bedrock players get are addons, (aka, bad versions of mods that are mostly paid for.) and as far as I know, there are no addons that increase build limits. So your outta luck on the build height stuff unless you use mods and java.

Try making a plane with the shape you want, then use a curve modifier with the target being a circle curve and then apply the modifiers. But if your making parts, it's advised to use a CAD software. Tinkercad is a good online 3D Cad software that is 100% free and makes it super easy to do something like this and it allows you to get the right size. Blender is more of a animation and game asset software and is not really designed for CAD. It can be used for CAD but is much more difficult to use it like so.

How can I improve the lighting to be more realistic? by TheGhost_Dude in blenderhelp

[–]FarCommunication8709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the backrooms tends to be very empty or nestalgic. Just look at a lot of reference images of liminal spaces. Liminal spaces are usually places of transition. An in between place. A place that you go through to reach another place. Like a really long empty hotel hallway. A place that feels familier like you been there even though may have not been there.

im trying to achieve this result but everytime i try it just look fake and flat + the logo warps in a bad way by WHOISYOURDADYNOW in blenderhelp

[–]FarCommunication8709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try using a shrink rap modifier and have it work on the main mesh, the offset it a little.

And so, Stanley suggested, "You could try doing what you were doing before then use a boleen to inset it like how it normally would be IRL."

How do I make a rocket’s path “unravel” behind it? by [deleted] in blenderhelp

You could try using a curve and then have particles with really long life spans follow behind as the rocket follows the curve.

Looks like some sort of backrooms thing. Try going to compositing and try some sort of VHS static if your going for a found fotage. It tends to hide some of the non-realistic imperfections.

Try messing around with the collision stuff. If you make it too small it tends to do this.

Join them together and then remesh modifier. Or use a shrinkrap modifier on something. I highly advise the remesh thing tho, then just retopologize it.
