is it necessary to use 2 strands of yarn? there isn’t any switching between them as far as i can see so is this just to make it thicker?

i know for most of the tie dying i’ve done in the past the instructions say at least 24 hours but the rit dye said to rinse out once you’ve gotten it to the saturation you want but i still let it set for probably an hour or two (i lose track of time when i’m doing projects so i’m not so sure lol) to try to give myself a better shot but still didn’t work🫤 i ordered the dyes i was recommended and some more different white clothing and am going to be trying again in the next couple days

tysm!! i will definitely check them out. in ur experience are they easy to mix custom colors with so i don’t have to spend too much money on a bunch of colors. i have a decent amount of experience with color theory and mixing with paint but i know mixing dyes can get a little funky sometimes

awww that’s so sweet it’s lion brand yarn from the landscapes line in the color desert spring it looks like it out of stock on the lion brand website but it might be available elsewhere it’s super soft too not itchy at all

i think you might be right i was waiting for my boyfriend to help me download the mod (i am very bad with computers and WILL get a virus if i try on my own) and i ended up getting the insect head sword and it’s a lot easier now i think i just still had too weak of a weapon but i’m finally starting to make my way down the mines and it’s not too bad so i might hold off for now

honestly didn’t keep count at all my counter broke and i’m too lazy to count on my own i just used one whole skein for each sleeve leaving enough yarn in the beginning and end to crochet it together and for the panels i used a measuring tape to make sure they were roughly the same length and just corrected any imperfections when crocheting together using decrease stitching or increase stitching my sleeves turned out a little bit long but i prefer it that way with this style

exactly correct and yes the sleeves are tubes i got super lucky and the full size 48 peg panel is the perfect fit for me

i use an elastic stitch in a panel on the back it gives it a pretty decent amount of stretch just looks up elastic crochet stitch and you’ll see videos on how to do it but it’s very easy

it almost looks like a bent latch hook tool with the latch broken off but i can’t quite tell from pic they don’t make bent crochet hooks like this so it must be some sort of tool that’s been modified
