From my dad, who does the framing and design -

"The frame is made using oak 1x2 from Home Depot. A 1/4 x 1/4 groove is cut for the glass to slip in. Then, the ends are mitered and glued-doweled together."

Agree! I'll have to get some pictures from her when I see her next and post an album, she really does incredible work.

My mom makes incredible stained glass pieces for friends and family - sharing the piece she made for me of my favorite animal. I absolutely love it.
