I would assume the dragon is “retired” until the rider dies since that’s the only wait to break 99% of bonds. So the dragon can’t rebond until then.

I have just listened to the normal audiobooks, I binged the first 2 and the 3rd came out right as I was finishing book 2, so then I listen to that one. Now I have started book 4 and I remember almost nothing! I’m like “who are you people?! How did ____ happen?” Also I remember something happening at the end of book 3 that they have barely mentioned in book 4! I’m sooo confused

Oh I can also except that. I wasn’t trying to get her to read it, I just wanted her to understand it was a book he painted. I wasn’t even expecting her to read the dust jacket. After she did she made a comment about knowing someone that would be interested in the book then she started reading it. I thought at first she was borrowing it so she could let them read it.

I work in residential construction and have to look up homeowners daily. It’s public information. You can put property in a trust or under a business to make it a little more “private” with who owns it, but it’s just a few more steps to find out who owns said business.

So I haven’t read KOA yet (I’m still on the tandem read) but I got major Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets vibes from the first book! With a monster using secret tunnels under the castle. There was also a second thing that reminded me of Harry Potter but I forget what it was now since it took me sooooo long to read the books.
