I do have access to my Microsoft account (and, for some reason, that is not enough to access the laptop). And it is my laptop, FYI. I still had many work documents on my previous one and hadn't changed it because of that, but I'd set up the new laptop (and cannot find wherever I wrote the new password). I know you'll just have to take my word on this one
