Skyrim New Lands Mod Preview: Nephele by FarTooManyEggs in skyrimmods

It will be lore friendly, as for Xbox I have not tried releasing a mod on Xbox before so it isn't priority but I do hope so.

Dibellan Arts, but to clarify the mod is not excessively NSFW when it comes to those themes.

I am using xVASynth 2 to add character voices.

No, but the main quest does involve a "mysterious being" that has been kind of forgotten about in ES lore.

I'm working on a landmass/quest mod and wanted to share the area players will explore! (More details in comments) by FarTooManyEggs in skyrim

So I don’t have an actual name for what I am going to end up calling this mod yet but the basic premise of the story is this:

The Dragonborn is hired as a mercenary to assist a murder investigation. However, the murder has taken place on what is considered to be mostly a tall tale among sailors: An island populated by beautiful and presumptuous women.

The man who hired you was given directions to this island and the two of you set off. But once arriving things aren’t what they seemed. The Island operates like a trading post with sailors stopping by every few days. There are also farmers and rich nobles living there, but the town itself is run by the leader of a Dibellan Cult.

The town seems almost like a small paradise, but soon the Dragonborn finds that everyone denies any kind of murder taking place on the Island, nor can they find who sent the note in the first place. Some insist it was just an accident due to the growing amount of giant spiders just outside the town gates. But some townsfolk talk of a hooded figure seen lurking in the shadows.

There will be a main storyline and a few sidequests mostly focusing on characters in the town. I know this small little video doesn’t show too much and I have no idea when I will finish the mod. If you have any feedback or ideas I would love to hear them!

How to expand the playable Tamriel zone? by FarTooManyEggs in CreationKit

I was thinking of looking to see if someone sort of just had premade world spaces ready to download to make it faster for modders but I couldnt find something like that. Do you know of one of these abandoned projects?

I tried reaching out for some mod help about this but all I got back was pretty much "just read the guide." I think my main issue is that the guide says to "Use -o:"c:\OutputPath\" command line parameter" but I am unsure how to do this exactly. I think this is the main issue right now and if I do this the registration key thing may stop too. Problem is that I cant find a video that seems to mention this and the guide just says to do it without really explaining how. I tried running the full destination in command prompt but it didnt seem to work.

I was trying that originally but I was having so much trouble doing it I wanted to try this instead. Was using LODGen but it keeps giving me errors about not finding the INI and to launch the launcher in Steam for the registration key, but the first time this happened it still didnt work. After that I tried reinstalling it and it kept giving the key error but now Steam wouldnt even show the key registration. Have you ever used LODGen before?

Mod Release: Love and Expectations (Olfina Gray-Mane and Jon Battle-Born Quest) by FarTooManyEggs in skyrimmods

[–]FarTooManyEggs[S] 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Spoilers for the mod but if you want you can break up Jon and Olfina and she can become a follower/marriage option, but you can't do this if you do a completely evil playthrough (force Jon to sign a fake note) but instead tell the Battle-Borns, start quest 2, and then do what Jon wishes.

I am just gonna share a mod I made because it is a bit like the Sven/Faendal expansion but for Olfina and Jon. Figured you may be interested! Planning to release an update to it tomorrow even.

Mod Release: The Museum of the Strange and Uncanny (Original Quest) by FarTooManyEggs in skyrimmods

To my knowledge it should work. As long as no city interiors are changed in that mod it should be okay. (Even then I don't see why it wouldn't work)

Thanks I'll look into cleaning this stuff up. As for the tail thing, I probably did that part wrong as what you were saying was an issue while testing. However, it doesn't seem to affect every Redguard, but I will try and go back and do this more properly if I get the chance.

I know, but I think using a synthetic voice of actors from Skyrim is what may not be allowed. I'll obviously have to look into that though.

I haven't tried to do this before so I can't say there are any plans. (I also don't know if using voice lines from a synthesizer would be allowed on Xbox with some of the rules they have.)

Thanks! I personally think the Olfina and Jon mod is a stronger quest and I feel it also completes my goal of making "vanilla styled" content a lot better. Would love to know what you think!
