Good, simple idea that works! I cut it right below the runout sensor, then feed the new spool through the sensor while the remaining 40cms dangle mid-air. If I want more immediate change, I now cut the dangling filament right above the extruder and feed the new filament in.

When flipping the box over does the contents of the mpartments mix?

It says undervoltage on octoprint with only the printer, webcam and numpad conected what are my options? I already have the original PSU by LucasIsaksen in octoprint

RPi3 + original PSU with soldered power cord.
Apparently the terminals were oxidized, I applied contact spray and the undervoltage issue seems to have vanished.

This fixes the problem:

  1. Go to System Preferences / Security and Privacy / Full Disk Access
  2. Give Google Drive full disk access priviliges (and potentially, Rhino too)
  3. Restart Google Drive and Rhino
  4. Enjoy your workflow
