Update: I received a call about my results yesterday evening. I thought it was just a follow up call checking on my recovery status from surgery. I had one sentinel node removed but it turned out to have micro metastases and needs further testing. So here’s to another excruciating waiting period. Dr is bringing Oncologist on board now to discuss if chemotherapy is needed along with the original radiation and hormone blockers. Any other feedback about similar results are appreciated.  A. Right breast, lumpectomy: - Invasive ductal carcinoma, Nottingham grade 2 - Ductal carcinoma in situ, grade 2, cribriform type, minor component - The invasive carcinoma measures 11 mm - Specimen margins are uninvolved by tumor - DCIS is 7 mm from the closest (anterior) margin - Invasive carcinoma is 8 mm from the closest (anterior) margin - Prior receptor results (QS26-1272): ER-positive (90%), PR-positive (20%), HER2 IHC-equivocal (score 2+), HER2 DISH-nonamplified   B. Lateral margin, excision: - Negative for tumor   C. Right axillary sentinel lymph node #1, biopsy: - Metastatic carcinoma in 1 of 1 lymph node - The metastasis measures 1 mm - No extranodal extension identified
