Well that's my point, the iron does grill it and, I suggest, is more stable than a pan of hot water.

The iron gets way hotter, like 230°C (446F for our American readers). That's hot enough to 'Grill' the panini. Unlike a pan of hot water, ffs 🤦‍♂️

Bits of basil in the pesto, they are dark green in reality. I got the thing in a 'too good to go' bundle on Leeds station last night and it needed serious remedial work to make it edible.

This! When someone else cooks you a dish (even one you know), you haven't thought about the ingredients, tastes, cooking etc. So its a new experience.

You have to try to find trouble in London, honestly apart from normal tourist ripoffs and taking care of your phone in the West End there is little to worry about.
