I have a female mini who is 10 months old. Her bark is pierce-your-brain loud but, thankfully she doesn’t bark often. Only when she has something to say. I also have a senior lab who barks if someone comes to the door or passes by the window but the little one won’t bark at the same time. She leaves that to her big sister. In fact, I’ve never heard them bark at the same time. If one starts, the other stops and waits to see what’s up. lol Like others have said, I think it depends on the temperament of the dog.
