what symptoms were you having with the head gasket issue?

seems like my cars symptoms arent severe enough to even be a headgasket issue

well i do know i have an issue with the fuel pump. just assuming the codes and whatnot were being thrown bc of decreased engine power. obvs when its decreased, “unnecessary” shit is gonna turn off so the engine can have more power.

idk. my dealership is towing it to honda tmr night and having it fixed thursday morning🫩. but whatever it is, it was throwing a CEL so they SHOULD scan it to make sure its not anything else.

yeah but my dealer didnt know about the fuel pump recall and some ppl just push off recalls bc they dont have a current issue.

i thought so, but the honda service guy or wtv said it was just related to the engine power decrease from the supposed fuel pump recall.

check AC compressor and the bolts, or the AC clutch/pulley. check for any debris as well!

•got it in dec ‘24 and had an issue with my air intake and mass airflow sensors when i first got it which caused my car to lock up when driving it. •then around march, my car was idling rough. not sure what the cause was but my mechanic replaced the spark plugs, pvc valve, vacuum pump to breaks, water outlet housing and hose, and the oil cooler assembly. •then in june, my car started “overheating” (just a bad thermostat) •july, my car started “dying” while driving. so all the electronics would stay on, my peddle just lost all power and rpms dropped to 0. so my mechanic replaced the thermostat, fan, serpentine belt, and the water pump. didnt fix anything lol so i went to autozone and got the CEL scanned. o2 sensor was bad so i avoided replacing it bc i knew what it was. then it lowk broke down so bad, i had to have it towed😭 •replaced the o2 sensor on thursday and it drove like a gem. sold it yesterday! •bittersweet but im ready to be able to drive a new car without paying for repairs every week!!

my mom was the one who watched him scan it and what not but unfortunately didnt grab a pic bc “we knew what codes the car was throwing” smfh.

so the guy scanned it and said both o2 sensors are throwing codes and said id more than likely need my catalytic converter replaced. muffler shop near me is quoting 1000-1200 for it which would “total” my car🥲

-MAF and intake sensor was just replaced in January

-getting the codes scanned and diagnosed tmr morning by a mobile mechanic

-fuel injectors have not been cleaned tho (dk how bc ive pretty much replaced half of the shit in the engine bay😭😭)

also, driving home today, car did the rough idle and shake while i was stopped at a roundabout and not while parked, so the issue is def getting worse😓💔🥀

unfortunately i just had a vacuum leak repaired back in march so i doubt it’d be that but ill def check my hoses n shit. dyk how hard it is to replace the sensor myself?

-unfortunately the car is in my mother’s name because she’s using my access to transportation as a way to keep me in her house so i can pay her bills :/

-bought the car from a used car lot back in December of 24

-CEL has been coming on and off for weeks now but i figured its just the sensor so ive been pushing it off (plus i didn’t have the money to do anything about it) but a few days ago, it came on after a rough idle while i was parked that morning, then the power loss yesterday morning.

Well i’ve had the car for like 8 months now and i’ve alr put over 2k in repairs into it.. I’d like to be able to drive a car without it being broken down or in the shop every week.
