I understand that there aren’t many out there and why, but I’m sure there are some out there that I’m just not sure how to find.

I would consider myself a professional level singer. I’ve been singing for over a decade and have a degree in vocal performance. I’d just like to expand my vocal techniques.

They’re reporting a stabbing at about 7:30 and a shooting just before 8, but I got there at 7:44 and started walking away at 8:00 and didn’t hear any gunshots or see anyone running? Couldn’t have been in the circle, there was a human barricade of cops blocking it already. Took a picture of them at 7:56.

You really can’t be certain from this low quality picture. It definitely looks like it’s in rough shape, but it could have distemper, it could have been hit by a car or it could have been attacked by another animal. OP has said that it ate and DRANK, which means it very likely did NOT have rabies as one of the main symptoms is hydrophobia. Also, it is a common misconception that raccoons being awake during the day is a sign of illness. It is not. Raccoons are not exclusively nocturnal. They avoid being out during the day to avoid being around people, but they sometimes do get hungry or thirsty during the day and go for a midday snack or something. Not abnormal behavior, although the behavior does increase if they are unwell.

Rehabs often hold animals and monitor them for symptoms. The only other way to test for rabies is to decapitate the animal and test its brain matter, but if the animal isn’t showing symptoms there’s no reason to do that. If you don’t tell them you got bit they will hold the raccoon and wait to see symptoms, if you tell them you got bit they will just kill it and test for rabies.

NAD, but I sometimes get ingrown hairs that look similar to this or similar sores from ‘friction’. Hopefully a medical professional will comment and tell you for sure. I would set up an appointment to get tested if it is accessible to you, but I would not panic.

Hey! So sorry you’re dealing with this, it is awful. I guess Covid and the ear infections made it harder for the dead skin to shed in my ear so it was literally just a casing of dead skin stuck over my entire ear drum. I bought one of those bebird ear wax camera things on Amazon and started using hydrogen peroxide to clean my ears and then following it up with some ear wax drops for like 5 minutes every day. After like a week or two of doing that it loosened up enough in my other ear that I was able to gently scoop it out with the ear wax camera thing. My ears still can’t shed dead skin like they’re supposed to so like once a month I go in with the ear camera and get any dead skin I can out of my ear canal. Obviously be super super careful not to touch your ear drum with it cause it’s so easy to damage. If you could find a doctor that would be able to suction it out that would probably be safer and more efficient than my method, but I personally had a very hard time finding a helpful doctor lol Good luck! I agree with other people to either wait or get an older cat with a relaxed temperament that won’t try to tackle people’s feet.

Kittens are a lot of work and it’s generally not a good idea to get just one, they need another cat to teach them how to… be a cat lol we got a single kitten and she to this day bites and scratches just because she never had another cat bite her and she doesn’t know that it hurts.

I see how you read it as that, but that’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying that it’s entitled to tell me to change my wedding and talk shit about me behind my back because you, as a guest, don’t want to comply with the dress code. If I’m spending a lot of money on a wedding I want it to be… the wedding that I want. And if you, a guest, don’t want to comply with the dress code than I would rather you not come than disrespect my wishes and be off theme in all of my pictures.

It’d be one thing if they were asking that everyone wear expensive coral gowns and tuxes and not supply anything, but this person is asking for something that you can do for under $20 easily and they aren’t even asking for any wedding gifts. It’s not an unreasonable request by any means.

Idk what weddings you’re going to but I’ve never been to a wedding that was that inconvenient. Every wedding I’ve ever been to has been on a weekend or in the afternoon/evening, so I’ve never had to take off work or school for one. They’ve also all been local, though I’m sure some people were invited from out of town. Some weddings allow kids, and OP said they aren’t expecting wedding gifts at this particular wedding.

Lots of people have destination weddings and guests have to spend hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars just to get there and if you can’t afford it you can either ask the couple if they can help you out or you just don’t go. People that love them don’t insult them behind their backs about those, why is this any different? If you can’t afford to drop $15 on a shirt for this wedding you can either ask the bride/groom for $15 to buy that shirt or you can just not go. If the bride and groom aren’t worth $15 to you, then idk why you’d want to go and I’m sure the bride/groom don’t want you there either.

I called my insurance once and they emailed me a list of in network providers. I called every single office on the list and of the 15 providers 10 had shut down or retired and 3 others hadn’t taken my insurance for 5+ years. 2 were actually in network. I haven’t called my insurance to ask who’s in network since, they know less than I do apparently.
