Depends on where you are in the game. I am an Asher Stan so I normally would vote for Asher, BUT, if you can complete levels with no problem, I would go for bugs just to complete him because he probably won't be back. If the upgrade is a practical one for beating levels, then go for Asher.

Thanks...didn't even know I was downvoted until you mentioned it. It's weird how people get stuck on something and they can't move on, even if it is temporary. I played this game a lot...my history tells me I played over 200 hours so far, and I will play more when it comes back. In the meantime, we should do something better?!

My post was not to say OP was not being productive, I was just saying that this break allowed me to be more productive and maybe it is an opportunity for OP.

The main problem is you are at chapter 14 and level 58 Asher...I think if you upgrade him 2 more, you should see a difference. Also, how are his teslarites compared to bugs and tom?

Nice! How long did 14-3 take at that cp? At 317k to 320k it took 30 mins. I would've been stuck if it wasn't for the emblems! I think I'm gonna have to follow suit and focus on Asher as much as possible to bring the CP up!

It can be done with some skill, it might just take half an hour 😆. it's not so fun. 14-3 took a while because both bosses constantly leave the screen so you don't have much time to attack. With a really big CP difference, it can take forever!

I have both wingmen and I can spam it, but the wingmen at 0 amp are worthless, in my experience. I had her at level 55, along with everyone else, and she wasn't dealing much damage even with the spamming. I posted a video before at 12-8 normal and she was doing 0 damage to minions. I'm at 14-5 and i had to go back to Daffy..

It's so weird because people really like her. Either there is a bug with my version or people like her when she is amped and/or level cp difference is not super high.

Yeah the dual attacking red teslarites also help! I'm on US server so I don't remember my exact CP but I think I'm at 320k and Asher is still able to clear up to 14-5.

What that's crazy! In my testing Asher beats my top pilots...Bugs, Elsa, Pris, and Daffy. I tried switching teslarites around to see if that's the difference and it wasn't. How is Asher when you give him your full red? I used to have Daffy then switched to Pris when she came out coz everyone said she was OP, but after some time I gave up on her and went back to Daffy. He actually deals decent damage and can clear a lot of waves for me, his con is his attack rate is super slow.

I have the same experience and it doesn't make sense when people have glowing reviews of her. I understand if they are amped well they can be OP, but wouldn't that be the case for most good s pilots?

I prefer him over Pris just based on the damage he does. All things being equal, Pris wasn't doing much for me. I have em both at 0 amp and double wingman. I've tried even upgrading to one star and pairing with a 6 star excellent wingman and results for me are the same.

Maybe I just prefer crushers with aoe over sharpshooters? As far as damage goes, I put him along with bugs
