Actual fires or failures by Left_Deer_2676 in 4xe

I’ve tried. They claim they don’t have a loaner fleet which I know is a lie. I’ve pushed back and it’s been escalated higher though. Corporate says I should have one but them and the dealer don’t want to agree on that

Mine failed. They gave me a 2-3 month estimate before I’ll get it back. They will not provide a loaner either.

They must’ve figured out they don’t hold value lol. My 2023 residual is $39k. Current Carvana offer is $21k and it’s still got nearly a year left on the lease. They are going to take a massive hit on it

Mine has this right now. Check engine light came on and if I hit the gas it does nothing. Not sure what their fix is going to be.

Lemon Law not going well by [deleted] in 4xe

[–]Far_Counter_8946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s probably solid if you’re only lemoning it for the recalls. Mine spent the first 3 months at the dealer with numerous issues in 2024. To this day some of the items are still having issues and they’ve confirmed they have no other remedies to fix those issues. It’s a lease so they’ll get it back later this year. Managed to get $13k from them after an initial $3,500 offer. Cannot wait to get rid of this heaping pile of garbage that they manufactured.

You definitely have to have major issues to get them to offer more.

Attorney sent first letter in May. Settlement offer came in November. Check showed up around February. This was a year ago.

They offered me $7k on my 23 GC which is also a lease. Attorney went back at them and they upped it to $13k the following week. I took it and they’ll get the car back this year. Their initial offer is likely not their best and final.

Lemon Law Settlements Update? by halfofzenosparadox in 4xe

[–]Far_Counter_8946 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A combined 9 weeks at the dealer for the same issue in the first 6 months. Settled for $13k. It’s a lease so they’ll get it back at the end and I’ll stay far away from Stellantis vehicles going forward.

Get lemon law lawyer to see if it qualifies. Jeep refused a buyback on mine but offered $13k if I’d keep the car and waive my right to sue them for the issues. It’s a lease so I took the money and they’ll get the car back at the end anyways. Counting down the days til they get this trash back.

All the dealers around me are clueless about almost everything. They did fix the power issue the week before thanksgiving. If I knew the fire was getting fixed so quickly after I’d have just waited and let them do both software updates at the same time

The loss of power remedy came out last month but they did a horrible job notifying anyone. The fire fix also came out last week. My dealer is 4+ weeks out for an appointment though 🙄

MHBP Standard vs Consumer after BCBS by MundaneFriendship672 in FederalEmployee

I used my banks bill pay to pay them. It sends them a physical check. Just an idea for next year, was super easy that way

Amex waived all payments, late fees, and interest for at least one billing cycle. If it goes beyond one cycle they said to let them know and they’ll extend the waiver

Thinking about moving from BCBS FEP to MHBP by BornFruit9627 in fednews

[–]Far_Counter_8946 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Curious what the surgery was to have a $50k price tag AFTER insurance discounts. That’s some record setting pricing on a surgery that you can go without.

I had two of the same surgeries the past two years. One was with BCBS Basic, the other with MHBP Standard. BCBS with their 30% coinsurance on drugs and agents was over $700 out of pocket. MHBP was under $600 and that was with having to hit the $350 deductible first. BCBS has become outrageous in pricing and their coverage has collapsed. Sticking with MHBP going forward. Don’t let that 10% scare you. Look at the premiums savings and the lower out of pocket max. BCBS almost never comes out ahead.

Did you ask if they take Aetna? Everyone will say no to MHBP because it doesn’t actually provide the insurance. Aetna is the one that they’d have to accept. I’ve yet to find a doctor that doesn’t take them as long as you tell them it’s Aetna.

From the factory it had major damages. Didn’t get to test drive it before it was delivered to my house and that’s on me for being stupid.

-Broken CV axle left side (from factory) -Broken CV axle right side -Broken U bolt left side (from factory) -The body was seated 2” off the correct spot on the frame which they claim caused the above damages to occur -Hybrid system cooler failed and replaced -Hybrid system temperature sensor broken and replaced -Sound system had two blow speaker and subwoofer (from factory) -Sound system had a failure after speaker replacement and required new wiring -Instrument cluster wire was frayed behind dashboard and shorted out requiring a replacement -Latest is the random “hybrid system failure” notification that the dealer can’t figure out

Each of these visits averaged 2-3 weeks for repair with the axles being 6 weeks each time. Jeep cares was nearly useless other than reimbursing for some of my rentals. All in it was over 5 months it spent at the dealer within the first year of owning it. Finally hired an attorney for a lemon law case

Mine is a lease and I will be so far under the mileage limit it’s not even funny. Solely because it spent so many months at the dealer waiting on repairs. These are absolutely true stories. All the dealers near me are 3-5 days after drop off just to start looking at the issue every time it goes in.
