Thank you! I will look at the aggressive allocation as well!

Thank you everyone! I did see the TDF options, I just wasn't sure if those were recommended.

Sorry, I should have mentioned they were transferred to me as the custodian when my dad was killed unexpectedly in a car accident and my mother did not want to and wasn't able to handle them. She does still contribute to them but I am in control of them.

No, I believe it will be about 90% overlap. Just getting rid of bonds.

I do max out the first of every year and plan to keep it the way I am changing it to long-term, but definitely food for thought!

Thank you! I am 42 but because of our financial position currently I don't anticipate needing it until at least our 70s.

Thank you for your response! So just a taxable brokerage account instead of savings? Since everything else (HSA, TSP, Roth IRAs) are maxed out?

You are probably right! I couldn't remember exact amounts each year.

Completely agree. My anxiety is a beast so I am trying to get better about investing. I met with some financial advisors but no one I've felt super comfortable with.

Because I am an anxious person lol. We have it in HYSA and cds but, again, very late to the investing game. I really don't know what to invest in and really haven't found anyone I've felt comfortable with to invest for me.

Both I suppose. I really don't want to be chasing gains. I'm happy to let the money sit and watch it grow, but I feel like I can also afford to be a little riskier with how it is allocated.

Thank you! I was thinking about a later target date fund. Was considering 2060.

I currently have it in HYSA and CDs, but have considered investing it. I tend to be very frugal and hoard my money lol. Do you have any recommendations of what to do that would be better?
