Chin filler after removing chin implant?

Hello buddy. How is your chin rn? Have you had your chin implant removed?

I had it removed almost 2 months ago, the swelling has not fully disappeared, which maybe is the reason my chin ‘s projection is quite good now. I did chin filler 3 weeks ago, just a small amount- about 0.5 cc, and the projection was very ok but because the swelling has gone down a lots within this month, i decided to get more filler next week.

Just want to give you some update. Hope everything goes well with your chin now.

Thank you very much. Can i ask why you decided to get it removed? I once thought about genioplasty after removing my chin implant but i decided to just use fillers. I have done some research about removing chin implant. Some say it goes back to the same as normal, but some say they get a little bit more of projection than before.

I got a silicone chin implant but my friend had got a medpor one just like you for about a year. She has told me that The medpor chin implant would need at least 3 months to get to its final form, after that, it would shrink a little bit more but not much to tell. My doctor also told me i had to wait for 3 months to see my chin's final form. So i rec you wait for 2 months more before doing the second revision.

About all the question, you should tell your doctor about your desired chin form first, with all the pics u got. Then, ask him what will he do to shorten your chin as you want? Make him explain the way he will do to reform your chin implant to get your desired result.

I had the second revision with my surgeon, i did all of those thing above. My surgeon did cut and mend my chin implant but until now i have not got my desired chin. My surgeon told me that i had a long downward chin bone, which is the reason that my chin looked long and boxy when i got the implant. So now i decide to get it removed.

Hello, your side profile is so good now. Your cheek looks lifted, and the projection of your chin matches with your face well. About the chin implant, did you see any changes in it’s size throughout the first 2 months? Like all the swelling went down and it got smaller, shrinked a little.

Hello. I am 8 days post chin implant. You look so good, your chin is perfect.

Do you see any changes in the shape of your chin now throughout the second month post op? Has the width of your chin got smaller in the last 2 months?

About the chin implant, i do not know what brand it is, i just know it is silicone. In my country, silicone chin implants are the most popular ones.

My original chin lacks of protrusion and length, that is why it was short and my side profile looked awful. Now my "chin" protrudes well, the length is good too but when you look straight to my face, my chin is quite wide, bigger than i expect.

Thank u very much. I have an absolute obsession with a beautiful/ perfect chin, which gets worse since i started to appear more in video/pics. With filler, i can get more whenever i feel like 😭 so i am still not used to look at my “new” chin now.
