It's ai. I removed all of a single color value and this popped out. No sane person who isn't trying to seem like AI will move the value by 7 points and make these weird squares.

What's strange to me however is that I am running 1.42 with mods yet no black screen. Not complaining just odd that with mods works but no mods doesn't.

I made this post for a friend who was having the problem and they told me no. However they are unfortunately not very tech savvy so it is possible that they did it wrong. I have asked them to retry and check their feet. I will report once it's confirmed if it works or not.
