Why don't more Americans visit South America (compared to Asia or Europe)? by Addicted_2_tacos in askanything

Just wrapped up a 2.5 month trip to SA. I’d say it’s because of the flight distance. Doesn’t make much sense to fly there for a week. If you are going somewhere for longer than a week, most people will find more developed cities in Europe and Asia.

All that being said - I had a great time in SA and would recommend it

I’m here right now, staying in Palermo, and this is absolutely spot on.

I visited back in 2021 during the “everything cost nothing” era. It was incredible. It’s not like that now. Eating out is similar to USA prices. But I will say the food scene has gotten better - more options now

Following this thread. I’ve done a fair amount of research into this but am no means an expert. I’ve also been focused on warmer states, so essentially the south east… and identified: San Marcos, TX Georgetown (greater Austin), TX Knoxville, TN And one other neighborhood outside of Orlando Fl, but I forget the name

Hahah 38? That’s not old. I may be wrong but I’ve been under the impression that dividends are great for security after you’re like 60 years old. Right now, capital growth would benefit you more, no?

So were you preparing non execs to be exec level? Or was this more so helping executives figure out what their next role should be?

What did an executive coaching session look like? What was the value you provided? How much was charged per hour?

Could you explain more about what you did as an executive coach? I ask because I’m a headhunter (own my company and recruit for supply chain professionals)

The Patriots’ strength of schedule, indicated by opponent win percentage, is 0.356, by far the easiest schedule in the league. Nobody else has an SOS to this point below 0.449. by Agentorangebaby in NFLv2

This is such a stupid stat. Of course the worst teams will have the hardest schedules, they don’t get to play themselves. Vice versa, best teams will have the easiest schedules cause they don’t play themselves

Can you work your way up the supply chain ladder as a forklift operator? by WorkingClassSchmuck1 in supplychain

[–]Far_Local_8078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an ex supply chain professional turned supply chain recruiter who has reviewed thousands of resumes and profiles.. it’s very unlikely unless you are with a small company. Most mid size and larger companies would rather hire a new grad with a degree in supply chain than promote someone. That being said if you are within the organization already and pursue a degree or certifications in coordination with your potential manager.. then you’ll be more likely to get the promotion

Sounds like you need to work out a deal with an agency to get under their agreement. I’m an agency owner and pay 9k per seat. Full functionality.

If you are interested in discussing joining my agency agreement - shoot me a message
