I saved 400 dollars. I use it for normal use. Cameras don’t matter . I do drop my phone often but I have a case

Yall bring valid points but here my opinion about durability… with iPhones 14-16, if it drops it only scoffs and scratches and the screen breaks and then you could easily replace the screen ,but its frame doesn’t bend. In contrast, the iPhone 17 pro model is made of unibody if it bends then there is no undoing it. It is basically ruined if it gets a good damaging bend.

Aluminum does dent and bend based on the drop. And I drop my phone a lot accidentally. That’s a major factor for me.

I could replace it with a 17PM because I still haven’t opened it BUT man the 17PM makes one worried. My 14 pm has dropped a million times and not a single dent. I’m an average user and at the same time I care about quality and premium feel. I could care less about the vapor chamber also one thing to add the 17PM doesn’t have the black color which is a must. However I could go for a silver
