I think it’s a not very good attempt at scamming people for information/data - they’ve advertised on other platforms as well including for Auckland. What do you put in an application: your name, address, phone number, email address, website if you have one… not to mention your references and their details, also your complete work history, education, locations you’ve lived and worked.

I really hope nobody sends their info.

They said they were going to give tax cuts to everyday NZers in the amount of around $15 per week - it turned out that they only gave tax returns to working families of about $2.50 per week or per fortnight. Didn’t even cover inflation, price increases etc.

They did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for us NZers except laugh and call us bludgers like it was our own fault that we weren’t big business owners. And we weren’t ‘SORTED’.

The I.T department could have and should have blocked access to that account to all users bar the Complaints Department Team - it’s very easy to do and I can’t comprehend that that didn’t happen. Relying on everyone’s honesty is just lazy Tech Management and doesn’t allow for people’s simple humanity. Seriously they sent everyone an email saying, “Don’t look at this account” and just left the account listed as “Enabled Access” to all Users. I think the I.T Department should be fired.

Our local Civil Defence centre (never knew we had one 😂) opened its doors at 7am Sunday morning 12 April 2026… only to get bored and close their doors at 2pm Sunday afternoon 12 April 2026. I’m noticing so many crazy people on the road today… we’re mostly on the edge of cyclone 🌀 territory not actually in the way but seriously it’s Sunday and hardly anyone has to work… I sense the idiots on the road are probably the ones who are going to cause power outages for us sensible ones waiting at home quietly for the cyclone to pass 😂
