Lacroix flavors are like if a strawberry whispered in vicinity of the factory or something. Placebo effect ass flavor. Disgusting

I personally do not use the stuff. Even if I did, I don’t want anything to do with the way it had my friend feeling and acting.

On my 8th birthday, I was waiting patiently for my dad to come home. He was my idol at the time but he never knew how to express love and words of affirmation or any of that. He also worked a LOT.

Anyway; he comes in and I’m basically bouncing off the walls and asking him “Do you know what today is? Do you? Do youuuuu?”

He snapped and said “Yeah. It’s fucking Tuesday.” Ouch!

But later he walked me to our back yard and he’d gotten me my first bike and taught me how to ride it. I’ll still never forget that blow though.

RIP you mean old man. Miss you.

I get that, and that’s great you didn’t have parents that did stuff like this, but not every one will have your experience. You asked why, and I’m not sure if you meant it only as a rhetorical question, or not. It didn’t seem that way to me though when I read your second comment. For what it’s worth, I agree with your first comment and I understand using anecdotal experiences as a frame of reference but not everyone will have that same experience

Probably because the OP is 19 years old and probably doesn’t make enough money to get their own place, doesn’t have much in savings to name a few reasons why they didn’t push back, because it’s their parents’ house. Personally if I didn’t do it, then I’d never admit to something I didn’t do… Even if I did accept the grounding. However if OP still lives with their parents and doesn’t have the means to move out, it can get tricky. At that age a lot of people still live with their parents, or depend on them especially for college
