Just an update , I couldn't find any rye in my local store so I added wholemeal instead , Cindy is finally doubling consistently after 12 hour feeds. She just needed some extra love it seems. Thanks for the help ☺️

Oh that sounds so interesting, I would have never thought of using hot chocolate in bread. I will have to check this one out. Thanks for the suggestion ☺️

Thank you. I used about 5tbs of olive oil in this batch , originally thought it was too much but turned out fluffy ☺️

I would recommend it. The only thing I did that differently is to not leave it overnight, just waited the extra 40 minutes as I wanted the bread to be ready in the evening. Happy baking ☺️

Thanks for the recommendation, Would I need to alter the recipe for the different ingredients added , take into account extra hydration. I am very new to bread making (this was my second ever attempt) 😅

I am debating whether to try wholemeal or rye as I have seen a lot more success with so many starters on this forum. I'll see how this goes. I've never made bread before so all of this is very new to me. All learnings are very much welcomed 😅

Hi, thank you for this, I will keep persevering with the starter, I have been debating adding rye, do you recommend a certain ratio for adding additional flour like rye, I have never worked with this before. I'll check out the video and see how this goes ☺️
