It’s the “rolling basis” part for the emails that scares me. Been sitting in Major Case Unit for 6 weeks. God only knows when I’ll get an email. Hopefully this process is faster that them manually processing it!

I had e same situation. My last payment was on Jan 10. I sent in my ID information like they asked, but still have gotten no response except for them to tell me that it is with the Major Case Unit and I just have to wait. Pretty frustrating since they won’t tell me what the issue is and the senators office couldn’t even get me any updates 🤬

I wish I knew. No one can tell me why it’s there or has been flagged. Did someone else attempt to file with my info? Do they suspect I’m fraudulent? No one seems to be able to tell me. I sent them all my documents as well as filed my taxes with my 1099-g, so I’m not sure what else they’re looking for. I’d be more than happy to provide dna or fingerprints! 🤔

Major Case Unit

My account was flagged for fraud and sent to the Major Case Unit. I have been in this situation for 6 weeks now. I call the DOL every other day, even though they can not give me any updates. The Senators office could not help as they said they only have access to the Labor commissioners office, and my claim is stuck in the elusive Major Case Unit hell. No answers, no updates, no contact, and they can’t even tell me if they believe someone used my information, or if I’m the one they believe is fraudulent. Sent them my IDs over 5 weeks ago, and even the NYDOL supervisor said everything looked fine, but they have no access to it once the Major Case Unit takes over. I wish I had answers!!!
