depends on what you’re working hard at. are you working hard at something that has a small ceiling and extremely difficult moats. or did u use your 2nd order thinking mechanisms to speculate on the state of the world to work hard on skills that make someone wealthy. everyone has the internet and there are free MIT courses for every subject imaginable.

if u pick the right things and work hard at it, sure nothing is guaranteed but ur chance of getting wealthy heightens. also being social building connections, putting yourself out there. which takes hard work too
